Our story
How Unleased began
We’re Clair and Jacqui — two small business owners who couldn’t find the right warehouse space and decided to do something about it.
Both of us had been squeezed out of the traditional commercial property market. Too big, too expensive, too much commitment. We each found our own workaround — subletting space from other businesses — and it worked. But it was harder than it needed to be.
In 2025 we met through business connections, discovered we’d faced exactly the same problem, and realised we weren’t the only ones. So we built Unleased — a platform that makes it easy for businesses with spare warehouse space to connect with businesses that need it.
Between us we bring more than 20 years of small business and entrepreneurial experience. We know what it feels like to make it work on a tight budget, in the wrong space, with limited options. That’s exactly why we built something better.
Finding the right space is one of the biggest decisions a small business makes. We want to make that decision easier, cheaper, and less stressful than it’s ever been.
